The Best Halloween Themed Restaurants & Bars in NYC
Halloween is a pretty big deal to a lot of people, and many businesses like to take advantage of that come October. If you live in New York City, you can often find many restaurants and bars that will give you a superbly spooky time with some of them changing things up and theming things for the holiday and others just being spooky all year round for those who enjoy a little bit of horror in their life. If you’re looking for a great place to grab a bite to eat while enjoying the spookiest time of the year in New York City, check out some of these great restaurants and bars.
The Jekyll & Hyde Club
If you’re looking for a Halloween themed restaurant with live entertainment while you dine and a horrifying atmosphere, check out The Jekyll & Hyde Club. This restaurant features plenty of creepy creatures roaming around to spook you while you enjoy your meal as well as featuring loads of fun memorabilia that any horror enthusiast can enjoy. The location is located on 7th Ave in Manhattan and is open until 4 in the morning on weekends so you can be scared through all hours of the night.
Beetle House
If you’re a fan of Tim Burton, this is the restaurant for you. Beetle House is meant for the true Tim Burton fan, giving you that spooky gothic feel most of his movies give off while also allowing you to interact with various Tim Burton characters such as Edward Scizzorhands, Willy Wonka, and the king of all spooks, Beetlejuice himself. Kids are welcome at this establishment if you’re looking for something a little more family-friendly but be warned that many of the staff’s costumes are not meant for the faint of heart, so know if it’s something your child will enjoy before heading over.
One if by Land, Two if by Sea
If you’re looking for a truly haunted restaurant as opposed to one that is decorated to the point of being tacky, check out One if by Land, Two if by Sea. This establishment is known for actually being haunted by ghosts and has been around since the 1790s. The restaurant has a storied history and even features a secret tunnel that would cut down to the river’s edge back in the day. The restaurant is known for serving upmarket clientele and has even been named one of the most romantic restaurants in the world, but its storied history and frequent ghost tours make it a wonderful place to get some more realistic scares.
